“When Flowers Become Your Guests for Lunch
It was an ordinary afternoon, with the usual hustle and bustle of setting the table for lunch. My husband and I were to dine together, and I was busy shuttling between the dining area and the kitchen. The plates, quarter plates, glasses, spoons, and bowls were all being arranged in a flurry, as I raced against time to serve lunch promptly.
Just as we were about to sit down, a gentle breeze wafted in through the window, carrying with it delicate petals of bright pink bougainvillea from the plants outside. As the flowers danced onto our dining table, they transformed into the most beautiful and unexpected guests, joining us for lunch.
In that serendipitous moment, the flowers became an integral part of our meal, infusing the atmosphere with their sweet fragrance and delicate beauty. It was as if they had been invited to share our lunch, and we were delighted to have them as our special guests for the day.”
Much love,
Simishka
